    Write-in Wroundup

This week the Sacramento region held 3 write-ins, attended by 26 persons, of whom 10 were writing and reporting their word counts. These wrote a total of 7,283 words.

    How to help your MLs

Paul and Max can use some assistance during this busy week. Here’s how you can help out:

    • Start using the Regional Forum as your primary means of communication. Although the rest of the NNWM website is broken, the forums work fine. They’re the best way for us to do many-to-many communications.
    • Bring breakfasty food to the Saturday kickoff.
    • Let Max or Paul know if you’re able to bring a coffee maker and filters Saturday morning. Also a large thermal carafe or two. Max will bring ground coffee, sweeteners, creamers. But we need two or more coffee makers.

    Coming events:

    Wed 10/30: Virtual Write-In, Discord, 7-10 PM

Thu 10/31: MIDNIGHT KICKOFF!! Denny’s, 122 Sunrise Ave, Roseville. 10:00 to 1:30 AM. Get to know your fellow wrimos. Learn tricks for winning. At midnight, start your novel! Costumes optional.

Sat 11/2: KICKOFF PARTY #2!!! Folsom Public Library, 411 Stafford St, Folsom, CA 95630. 9:00 to 11:15 AM. Paul Ardoin will talk about cultivating a winning mindset. Then we’ll write. Coffee provided. Bring food to share.

Wed 11/6: Virtual Write-In, Discord SacNaNo channel, 7-10 PM.

    Create your own write-in

You can set up your own write-in. Just conspire with people in your area, come up with a time and place to meet, and let your MLs know. We’ll put it on the calendar. (This is how we got an Elk Grove write-in this November!)
